Corporate Citizenship at CES Locations around the World
Engaging for a Sustainable and Socially Just Future
Europe
Veszprem (Hungary)
CES Veszprem shows that small actions can have a great impact and that everyone can contribute to a sustainable tomorrow.
Guerilla Gardening for Biodiversity
The alarming loss of biodiversity and the significant decline of insect populations are causes for concern. Even small actions can contribute to preservation efforts. In response, CES Veszprem organized an initiative to enhance the green space in front of the building. Employees were invited to participate in planting flowers in twenty empty boxes, and a care plan was established to ensure the plants thrive. This initiative has inspired many others to get involved.
Green Offices for Well-Being
Moreover, CES Veszprem set its aim to create a greener and more pleasant office environment. Studies show that plants help to reduce stress, enhance the ability to concentrate and have a positive effect on well-being. In an initiative, colleagues could plant some seeds and grow new plants, bring their own plants to the company, or buy some plants. This activity not only improved the office environment, but it also provided cleaner air and contributed to team building.

Lichfield (UK)
Social and Educational Engagement
CES Lichfield has launched a range of activities aimed at supporting social and educational initiatives.
Colleagues have spearheaded efforts to assist community members in need, including donation campaigns for cancer research and initiatives to support underprivileged children, all aimed at benefiting the local community.
Additionally, promoting educational engagement is a key priority for our team in the UK. Recently, an initiative was organized to donate laptops to local schools, enabling children to participate in online classes. This contribution significantly enhances inclusive education. Furthermore, involvement in student and academic projects helps ensure ongoing engagement with graduates.

Auburn Hills (USA)
As in the previous year, our colleagues in Auburn Hills continue their great voluntary commitment to a better future in this year.
Volunteering for the Environment
In June and July, CES Colleagues from USA volunteered at the local Independence Oaks Park, helping out with several important tasks. The team power washed picnic tables and pavilions to make them cleaner for visitors. They also painted and varnished benches, giving them a fresh look. Additionally, they cleared fence lines, painted different structures, and pulled weeds from the landscaped flowerbeds. Their hard work made the park a nicer place for everyone to enjoy!
Engaging for the Children
Along with their work at Independence Oaks Park, the CES team is excited to participate again this year in the Friends of Foster Kids’ Spirit of Christmas program. This initiative supports foster children from three local counties who have been taken from their homes due to abuse and neglect. The CES team volunteers their time to wrap new items that match each child’s wish list, ensuring they receive special gifts just in time for Christmas delivery. It’s a wonderful way for the team to spread joy and make a difference in these children’s lives during the holiday season!
